From her first Hi-Lo class over 30 years ago, to some of her own creative classes using Tabata and Yoga, today, Anissa takes group fitness and personal training to different level. With a background in anatomy and physiology, Anissa fuses fitness trends (such as: Barre, Boxing, Cycling, Pilates, Step and Yoga), to keep her classes educational, fresh, innovative, progressive and above all, fun!
Taking fitness further, and challenging her own body, Anissa began competing in figure competitions. Changing her body from a fatigued, over-trained state, into a symmetrical, fat burning machine, Anissa focused on three things: food, weights and rest. Proving not only to herself, but to other women, that there is an intelligent way to approach such an intimidating sport.
