FIIT (Functional Integrated Interval Training)
FIIT Total Body
This is our signature class that made Core Physique what it is today! FIIT is an awesome, energy filled 45-minute class that begins with a warm up, followed by a workout that combines strength, cardiovascular endurance and flexibility exercises and finishes with a cool down/stretch segment. The program is about conditioning your body to function correctly during day-to-day activities like reaching overhead, carrying laundry baskets, being steady on uneven surfaces and more. The best thing about this program is that you get new and exciting exercises each time. We encourage everyone to reach their own level of “Full Intensity”. Every exercise can be adjusted based on your physical ability. All you need to bring to class is a desire to get fit. Most participants burn on average 300-700 calories per class!
As the class name suggests, this class focuses on your lower half. Exercises will be targeting legs, glutes, lower back and belly. You will get your heart rate up and burn some major calories in this class! As with any CorePhysique class, you work at your fitness level. We have plenty of modifications if you have issues with knees, back or feet.
This class focuses on the upper body and cardiovascular endurance for a great workout!
Kickboxing is the perfect total body workout, and the fastest way to that toned fighter physique you seek. You’ll learn basic Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Western-Style Boxing skills combinations. Kickboxing includes cardio calisthenics, kick – knee elbow strikes, partner drills, pad work, and core strengthening exercises. Come ready to sweat like crazy, build a rock solid core, and burn hundreds of calories.
TRX Suspension Training body weight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. This is a challenging class but has modifications for those just starting. Be sure to sign up and secure your spot prior to coming – this class is limited to 14 people.
S&S (Strength & Stability)
This class focuses on specific muscle groups to gain strength and sculpt lean muscle. This class will shape and define your arms and chisel your core and back to bring your strength training to a new level.
This class is build around high intensity strength intervals along with different grips and stances to better target the muscles. We will target the anaerobic and aerobic systems of the body while building lean muscle mass and burning fat. Bottom line – your butt, legs and lower abs are going to look awesome!
HEAT (High Energy Aerobic Training)
Want to build up endurance? Want to burn a lot of calories? Ready to sweat? This is the perfect class for you! You will get in shape with a variety of cardio exercises that get your heart pumping. These metabolism-boosting workouts are perfect for helping you reach your fitness goals. Each class is based on what YOU can do through the use of the MyZone Heart Rate Monitor (or HRM of your choice). We will use the MyZone Heart Rate Monitors to monitor your progress, push you when you need and pull you back if necessary so you get the most out of this workout.
HEAT Self Instructed
Because our lives can get crazy, this class gives you lots of flexibility. Show up at 5:45-6:45am or anytime between 7:30am and 10:30am on Thursdays for an awesome self paced cardio workout. The workout will be waiting for you! You work at your pace under the watchful eye of an instructor in the gym if you need help or modifications.
The benefits of yoga to the mind and body are endless. Not just what it does to our muscles and external body… but what it does to our internal body. Yoga is more than a workout. The practice of pranayama (the breath) and the asanas (the physical aspect, poses) helps us to become more in tuned with our bodies, which will help us prevent injury as well as developing more strength, flexibility and balance. Yoga is the perfect “yin” to the “yang” of our everyday lives and workouts. Each class will be designed here at Core Physique with this in mind and customized to the students, regardless of your experience. Our world is noisy and competitive…let’s take it down a notch. You will like the results.
UpBeat yoga is the perfect mix of athletic movement and targeted yoga. We focus on generating our own heat thru dynamic movement and weight-free strength training. Set to fun music, you’ll have a blast while cultivating mind-body connection – and pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights.
We spend so much time curved inward – phones, computers, bench sitting watching our kids play their sports that we become hunched. This class will open you up and elongate the muscles so you feel better, look better (maybe even taller!), and perform better in your workouts, tennis or golf game. If you have pain in your shoulders, hips, knees, feet (plantar fasciitis) then this class is for you.
Active Stretching combines trigger point, foam rolling, traditional dynamic and static stretching, mobility work, Yoga poses, Pilates, guided breathing and other techniques to help you feel better, move better and perform at your best.
Trigger Point Therapy
Kolleen Riddick, owner of Core Physique will lead this class. Kolleen is a Master Trainer for Trigger Point – the only Master Trainer is the Southern United States! She has been through extensive training and is a firm believer in the benefits of Trigger Point. If you struggle with tightness, injury or simply want to make your workouts more efficient and effective, you can’t miss this full body class.
