Pam has come a long way in a short period of time. She has a full time job, busy with 3 kids, wasn’t eating great or working out consistently. She joined CP and signed up for Nourish to Flourish 21 day reset. She lost over 5 pounds but also gained control over her eating and made her workouts a priority. She not only feels great on the outside but also on the inside. You are truly rocking this exercise/diet thing Pam! So proud of you!!

Tell Us A Bit About Yourself
I am a 51 year old nurse currently working from home as a clinical case manager, former pediatric RN in the ER and Adult ICU/Oncology, as well as, home Hospice RN. Mom to 3 amazing kids! Griffin is in college in Louisiana, middle son, Nathaniel is in high school, and my littlest, Abigail, is in middle school. We have a pup named Jett, a canary named Peep, and 3 hermit crabs who are stowaways from Hilton Head this summer. I became a member at CorePhysique after being introduced by Jennifer Jones this fall. I loved the warm, friendly atmosphere and enjoyed the smaller classes as well as the variety of exercises presented at each session.

What Did You Do Exercise-Wise Before CP?
Prior to Core, I did very little consistent exercise and occasional yoga.

What Is Your FAVORITE Exercise/Body Part to Work On?
My arms and back, upper body exercises challenge me the most. I’ve always wanted better definition and strength in my arms and back, and while I find the exercises hardest for me, I am enjoying seeing and feeling the changes!

What Is Your HATED Exercise/Body Part to Work On?
My least favorite exercise is jogging/running. I don’t love lower body workouts but am always glad that I’ve done them. If my glutes return, it could possibly become my favorite.

What Type of Music Gets Your Heart Rate Up?
I have very eclectic taste in music but for work outs, I lean towards something with a good rhythm, 80’s or pop/Hip Hop, Timberlake, Rihanna, Gaga, FloRida, Macklemore, Bruno.

Do You Exercise On Your Non-CorePhysique Days?
Not always, sometimes I just stretch out or do yoga.

What Is Your Favorite Cheat Food(s)?
Ben and Jerry’s Phish Food or chocolate salted caramel anything.

If You Had A “Me” Day (exercise not necessary), What Would It Look Like?
Ideally, I would like to not have to think, plan, or make a decision about anything for one day. My favorite “Me” day might be spent either starting or finishing a favorite project, window shopping at my favorite stores, a massage, and then lunch/dinner with friends.

Who Is Your Biggest Supporter?
My mom and dad, friends.

What Keeps You Coming Back To CorePhysique?
Deciding to take care of me…so that I may continue to take care of others.

What Is The Best Thing That Has Changed About Your Life Since Committing To A Healthy Lifestyle?
Feeling stronger, more capable, and overall increased happiness that flows into my daily outlook and stamina and meeting new friends!
