Pam has always been into fitness, but when her daughter suffered a severe back injury playing tennis, she felt the need to learn as much as possible about functional movement and injury prevention. This sparked a desire to put into action all of the information she learned, so Pam became a personal trainer.
Pam believes you can improve your fitness level no matter what your physical condition might be. She believes workouts that are functional and complement your lifestyle will make daily life more enjoyable and will improve your quality of life.
Pam says making workouts different and challenging will allow you to have fun while staying interested and focused. “My goal is to help you enjoy your time ‘in the gym’ while you work to achieve your personal fitness goals. I am a huge proponent of safe, efficient and functional movement. I emphasize proper form with all of my clients as it is absolutely essential in preventing injuries.”
Pam is a ASFA Certified Personal Trainer and ITPA Tennis Performance Trainer. Her focus includes, TRX, Trigger Point, Cross Movement Pattern Training, Functional Training, Youth and Adult Strength and Conditioning, Core and Stability Training and Nutrition.
Pam has her B.S in Psychology and Marketing from Georgia State University where she and her husband played golf. She has two beautiful daughters, and when she is not training at Core, she is traveling with them to tennis tournaments all over the southeast.
Pam approaches each session with a tremendous sense of encouragement and believes she will find the right workout for you to get the results you want. “You may not be glad to see me when you arrive, but when you get to the finish line each day, you’ll leave with a sense of accomplishment and a sense of what it takes to get and stay healthy. THAT will keep you motivated to return.”
