Sarah Wilkey is a recent graduate of Georgia State University where she received her M.S. in Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics. In 2014, she earned her B.A. in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has also done sports-related research projects through Duke University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Sarah was a summer camp counselor throughout college and is passionate about working with kids. She has experience training youth athletes in the local community and enjoys teaching proper technique to those that are newer to working out. Currently, Sarah also serves as trainer to a number of professional and elite athletes with the aim of improving their performance and decreasing their risk of injury.
Throughout her life, Sarah has been involved in the world of sports and fitness. She grew up playing sports year-round and was a member of four varsity teams in high school (soccer, basketball, golf, and swimming). She also played club and intramural soccer throughout college. She is fascinated with the human body and how it reacts to training and she is constantly striving to learn more.
In her free time, Sarah loves snowboarding, working out, and taking her golden retriever on trail runs.
